Day 1: Arrival in Aswan – Aswan City Tour
Your Egyptian adventure begins the moment you land at Aswan Airport or step out of your hotel lobby, where our representative is waiting to greet you and stay by your side throughout the day. A private, air-conditioned vehicle whisks you off to the mighty High Dam, an engineering feat that tamed the Nile’s yearly floods, powered the nation and preserved a treasury of Nubian monuments from being lost beneath rising waters.
From there you travel to the Unfinished Obelisk, still cradled inside the pink granite quarry where a hairline crack forced its ancient sculptors to lay down their tools, leaving behind a rare open-air lesson in how Egypt’s stonemasons shaped their giants.

After breakfast, a horse-drawn carriage clatters through the streets of Edfu town and drops you at the gates of the Temple of Horus, the most completely preserved ancient temple anywhere in Egypt.
Inside, monumental pylons, cavernous halls and finely chiselled inscriptions retell the mythic battle between Horus and Seth alongside the daily rituals of the Ptolemaic priesthood. Because the sanctuary survived so intact, you can still climb through its original architectural layers, all the way up to the rooftop terraces.
Back aboard, the cruise resumes its journey north to Luxor, with lunch served while the palm-fringed banks slip by.
Once docked, you make your way to Luxor Temple on the East Bank, a shrine shaped by successive rulers including Amenhotep III and Ramesses II.
